01

Start with the listing, not the spreadsheet label

A spreadsheet name is a research shortcut, not an order specification. Open the source listing and confirm that it still represents the product you intend to buy. Sellers can replace images, reorganize variants, change bundle contents or reuse an old page for a revised item. The product title alone is weak evidence because translated titles often compress several models into one phrase.

Build a four-part identity before submitting the link: product type, exact model or version, selected variant and quantity. Compare the main image with the variant thumbnail rather than assuming the first image belongs to every option. Save a screenshot showing the chosen state. If the page has changed materially since the spreadsheet was checked, treat it as a new buying decision. Superbuy can purchase according to your requirements, but the buyer must make those requirements unambiguous.

02

Decode price ranges before believing the cheapest figure

Chinese marketplace search results often display the lowest price attached to any selectable option. That option may be an accessory, replacement part, deposit, sample, small size or incomplete set. Open every relevant selector and watch how the price changes. A photograph showing a complete outfit does not prove the selected option includes every piece. Count the components described for the exact variant.

Create a simple price record with the visible unit price, required quantity, seller domestic delivery and any option-specific surcharge. Superbuy’s shopping guide explains that the first payment covers the product and Chinese domestic delivery; international shipping is a later step. Keeping these stages separate prevents a low listing price from being mistaken for a finished cost. If one option is dramatically cheaper than neighboring variants, investigate the reason instead of treating it as a bargain.

03

Translate choices into instructions an agent can verify

Colour and size selectors are only the beginning. One listing may combine material, generation, fit, package type and colour inside a single option string. Write the chosen option exactly as displayed, then add a plain-English interpretation: olive green, updated version, size 42, pair rather than single item. Include a screenshot when machine translation leaves two choices looking identical.

Remarks should describe a testable requirement, not a preference that appears after purchase. “Please buy the correct one” gives an agent nothing to compare. “Select the olive variant shown in the second thumbnail; size 42; one pair; no substitute colour” creates a usable instruction. Superbuy’s public guide says buyers select colour, size and quantity and can use order enquiry during purchasing. Use enquiry for unresolved details, especially when the agent asks for missing information. A delayed answer can delay or prevent purchasing.

04

Check seller notes for timing and eligibility

The details section can contain conditions that are absent from the title: made-to-order production, presale dispatch, random colour, no size exchange, cosmetic flaws, second-hand condition or a deposit that does not represent full payment. Search the description and seller notes for statements about dispatch timing, inventory, returns and what is included. A selectable variant is not proof that stock is ready.

Do not invent a delivery promise from an estimated date shown by a marketplace. Record the seller’s stated handling condition and decide whether it fits your warehouse plan. If several items will be consolidated, one presale product can hold the entire parcel while other goods occupy storage. Ask the purchasing agent to confirm a critical condition before buying when the seller language is unclear. The objective is not to eliminate every uncertainty; it is to identify which uncertainty could change your decision.

05

Treat 1688 quantity logic as a separate check

Superbuy’s official shopping guidance warns that many 1688 products have a supplier minimum order quantity. A page may show tiered prices, mixed-colour requirements or a minimum total across variants. The first price can represent the largest wholesale tier rather than the quantity you plan to buy. Confirm whether the minimum applies per colour, per size, per design or across the complete order.

Write the requested combination as arithmetic: two black medium, two beige medium, four units total. Then confirm that the displayed unit price applies at four units. For listings built around customization or wholesale sampling, check whether setup, logo, mold or proofing costs are separate. Superbuy also notes that 1688 purchases follow different risk and inspection considerations. Do not carry assumptions from a normal Taobao retail listing into a wholesale order simply because both links can be submitted through the same interface.

06

Recognize when a standard link is not enough

Superbuy’s guidance supports links from major Chinese marketplaces and allows buyers to fill in product information for other shopping-agent orders. If a link cannot be read correctly, the product is on an unsupported or unverifiable third-party platform, or the request requires sourcing rather than simple purchasing, a standard pasted URL may be the wrong workflow. Public guidance points buyers toward Expert Service when an item cannot be searched or the order needs more help.

Manual information should include the seller page, product image, exact specification, quantity, expected price and the question that must be answered. Unsupported and second-hand sources can carry extra fees, purchasing failure, limited returns or shipping risks according to Superbuy’s public notices. Wait for the agent’s feedback rather than forcing the order into a familiar template. A correctly classified difficult order is safer than a fast order built on false certainty.

07

Use a pre-payment exception test

Before paying, compare the cart against a one-line order contract: “I am buying one exact item, in this exact variant, for this visible product price, subject to this seller condition.” If any word cannot be supported by the listing or an agent confirmation, mark it as an exception. Common exceptions include an option image that conflicts with its name, a price that changes only at checkout, missing domestic freight, uncertain stock, random selection or a non-returnable note.

Classify each exception as acceptable, confirm first or reject. Accept a minor packaging colour difference only if it does not affect the purchase. Confirm an ambiguous model number before payment. Reject a deposit-only page when you intended to purchase a finished product. This short test is more useful than collecting dozens of screenshots without a decision rule. It also creates a clean record if the agent contacts you during purchasing to resolve a discrepancy.

For a costly item, keep an exception log with four columns: conflicting detail, source of the conflict, question sent and final answer. For example, the option name may say “new version” while its thumbnail shows an older fastening system. Record both observations and ask which construction the seller will ship. Do not silently choose whichever evidence supports the purchase you already want. A written answer can turn an ambiguous listing into a decision; no answer is itself useful risk information.

08

Carry the original specification into warehouse review

Listing verification ends only when the warehouse arrival is compared with the order you actually submitted. Keep the saved option screenshot beside the Superbuy QC photos. Check model, colour, size label, quantity and visible included parts. Standard warehouse inspection can confirm visible information, but it should not be treated as professional authentication, material testing or a promise about hidden performance.

If the received item differs, describe the mismatch using the original evidence: ordered size 42, received label 41; ordered two-piece set, only one component visible; selected updated version, QC image shows the older feature layout. Specific comparisons help the agent communicate with the seller before an after-sales window closes. The strongest buying record is continuous: source page, chosen option, submitted remark, agent message and warehouse evidence all describe the same intended product.

PRACTICAL FAQ

Questions buyers ask before submitting a product link

Is the lowest displayed price normally the item I want? +

Not necessarily. It may belong to an accessory, deposit, sample, small option or high-quantity tier. Select the exact variant and verify its price.

Should I translate a variant name myself? +

Keep the original option wording and add a clear interpretation. A screenshot is useful when translated choices become indistinguishable.

What makes a good Superbuy order remark? +

State an exact, testable requirement such as colour, model, size, quantity and whether substitutions are allowed. Avoid vague instructions.

Why can a selectable product still be unavailable? +

Marketplace selectors can remain visible when stock is delayed, presale or subject to seller confirmation. Selection does not guarantee immediate dispatch.

What should I check on a 1688 listing? +

Check minimum quantity, price tiers, whether variants can be mixed, customization charges and the inspection or return limitations.

When should I use Expert Service? +

Consider it when a product cannot be searched, a platform is not handled normally, information must be entered manually or the request involves sourcing assistance.

Does QC replace pre-order verification? +

No. QC happens after purchase. It can reveal visible differences, but a clear original specification is still needed to judge whether the item matches.

What evidence should I keep? +

Save the listing state, exact option, price, seller conditions, submitted remarks, agent messages and the later warehouse photos.
